The Kostmann team is currently renovating a 5 km section of the A2 from Wolfsberg Nord to the Gräberntunnel on both carriageways. The construction period extends from March to November 2024.
The renewed road surface covers an area of 160,000 m². In the process, 20,000 tons of old pavement will be recycled on site and integrated into the new asphalt mix - a significant contribution to the circular economy.
In addition, 15 bridge structures will be removed down to the structural shell and the bridge waterproofing will be replaced.
