Corrupt behavior - such as bribery, granting of advantages, prohibited intervention, fraud, embezzlement, acceptance of gifts and bribery of employees and agents - is punishable by law and is firmly opposed at Kostmann. Kostmann stands for lawful conduct, integrity and fair business practices. Advantage is achieved through performance, competence and quality. Kostmann stands out with innovative methods and techniques and encourages its employees to behave in accordance with the rules.
Kostmann employees may neither demand nor accept inappropriate gifts/invitations nor offer them to business partners (prohibition of active and passive corruption). Inappropriateness is determined by local custom.
Tone from the top - by setting an example and constantly raising awareness, we raise awareness of legally compliant conduct. Training courses, which are held on an ongoing basis and tailored to individual cases, train employees to behave in a compliant manner. Employees who report a compliance violation or report a case in good faith will not suffer disciplinary action or discrimination.
As the basis for fair and long-term cooperation, we also expect our business partners to behave in accordance with the law and to implement control measures to monitor and prevent corruption. Compliance violations and non-compliant behavior are pursued accordingly and appropriate measures are taken in individual cases.
Kostmann GesmbH's compliance management system, which is certified by Austrian Standards plus GmbH, covers the following risk areas: Anti-corruption law, antitrust law, wage and social dumping as well as the company's internal principles of action for operational activities regarding the prohibition of unaccounted cash collection and the confirmation of hours/performance vis-à-vis subcontractors and suppliers.
The implemented compliance management system meets the requirements of the reference documents ISO 37301 and ISO 37001. The appointed compliance officer has successfully completed the training course to become a certified compliance officer.
Kostmann has implemented a digital whistleblower platform ("Kostmann Whistleblower Platform"), which enables both the submission of anonymous reports and subsequent anonymous communication.
The Kostmann whistleblower platform is easy to use and can be used anonymously by the whistleblower. Your identity is protected by the Kostmann whistleblower platform. We encourage you to include your contact details with your report so that it can be processed more quickly. The content of your report will be processed by our Compliance Office. Subsequent additions to your report and communication are possible. We request that you only pass on information that falls within the scope of the law and that you are convinced to the best of your knowledge and belief is correct. We would also like to draw your attention to the possibility of providing information to external bodies, such as the BAK, where information can be provided both in writing and verbally.
